HISTORY
BeDoCare was born with a meeting in Rome, September 28-30, 2022, in preparation for the 100th anniversary of Opus Dei and the 20th anniversary of Harambee, an initiative promoted on the occasion of the canonization of St. Josemaría.
The first BeDoCare days brought together 150 participants from 35 countries, representing 90 initiatives inspired by the teachings of the founder of Opus Dei. Over three days that focused on Listening and Learning, Sharing to Co-Create, Thanking and Celebrating, perspectives and proposals were exchanged on the possible social legacy of Opus Dei’s centennial, the revitalization of existing social initiatives and the promotion of social sensitivity. Innovative ideas and proposals emerged, highlighting the need to give continuity to this space.
Thus, BeDoCare emerges as a dynamic and global forum, fusing professionalism and enthusiasm to address social challenges with the conviction that every action counts in building a more compassionate and sustainable world.
